LG REVEALS SUNLIGHT ILLUMINATED DISPLAY PANEL

LG has announced a 14.1-inch LCD display panel for notebooks that is illuminated by sunlight when used outdoors instead of the customary backlight. This sunlight illuminated LCD panel will be displayed at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2009. The sunlight illuminated display panel will consume 75% less power when used outside. This energy efficiency has been achieved by the �Backlight Data
