INTEL TO SUSPEND THE SALE OF Z-SERIES ATOM PROCESSORS TO NETBOOK MAKERS
Intel may suspend the sale of Atom Z processors to netbook makers. Does this mean that Intel intends to stop the production of Z-series processors at all? Well, not really. ASUS TO LAUNCH A SMARTBOOK IN 2010
Asus plans to launch a smartbook during the first quarter of 2010. The company has not yet released further details, but smartbooks are 3G enabled highly portable laptops running on ARM-based processors.
